Froggy Froggy May We cross your Golden River !
One person is chosen to be the Froggy.
All the other children line up opposite the Froggy.
They chant the question :
Froggy Froggy may we cross your golden river ?
The Froggy answers : Not unless you have the colour _______ /
number _______
( This may relate to colours /numbers chosen beforehand or what colours children are wearing)
Those who have the correct colour etc may cross. The others must run across and avoid being caught. If they are caught they join the Frog and help catch others. The winner is the last remaining child.
